"Sravasti Abbey not only has the external conducive facilities; it also has the internal quality—in essence, the Dharma. By studying here you have a very good advantage."

Resident Programs and Outreach

At Sravasti Abbey we aspire to imbue all our activities with the motivation to benefit others. We focus on sharing the Buddha's Dharma through programs that teach how to create peace in a chaotic world.

The monastics of Sravasti Abbey endeavor to live generously by dedicating our lives to the Buddha's teachings, practicing them earnestly, and offering them to others. Thus we do not charge for teachings or programs. We trust that people will value our work and our way of life and will respond generously by providing what is needed to live and spread the Dharma.
